The Avon Napoleonic Fellowship (ANF), a small wargames group located in the Avon Valley, about 100 km ENE of Perth Western Australia. The focus of our group, as our name implies, is historical figure-based games in the Napoleonic period, but we do play wargames in other historical periods.

Quatre Bras in fine style
Many of you will already have seen it, but if not, I commend you to seek out Chris Gregg's Not just old school wargaming blog to read the reports of their superb game of Quatre Bras.
Does look utterly splendid, doesn't it? 1:20, indeed! Almost makes one think about skirmish wargaming, which I have never seen done properly but is always enticing.
Julian, we did La Haye Sainte and Waterloo at 1:3 scale which was big game skirmishing - links on James Wargaming Waterloo blog, and I produced rules for it - "With MacDonnell and Baring 1815" available as a download from my blog. cheers Chris G
Quite amazing!
ReplyDeleteOut standing looking game. You can also get lost in all the background story
